Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Mutumba kicked off to start the match. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play. In the 11th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Berart in the 24th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vykans Vikingar's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Berart came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdi Revis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Glanselius to maneuver through the defense. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luz Tejedor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Leonardo Trancoso replaced Eric Van Lint. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Peru's Eliseo Mina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 71st minute of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Martin Mutumba sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vykans Vikingar's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Haglund replaced Martin Mutumba. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 89 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Haglund came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Bengt-Arne Haglund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Arne Haglund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. 96 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Haglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
