Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Obregón Pardemanos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ralf Albäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Taltum FC's Obregón Pardemanos. But to his dismay, Obregón Pardemanos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Obregón Pardemanos didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 11th minute. Taltum FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Obregón Pardemanos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Taltum FC's Obregón Pardemanos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Ralf Albäck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Obregón Pardemanos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Obregón Pardemanos slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelo Cavenaghi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 6-0 in the 29 minute of play. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Ralf Albäck scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 7-0. 8-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Ralf Albäck elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Obregón Pardemanos notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute of the match Taltum FC got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roldan Castellanos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Roldan Castellanos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute of the match, Marcelo Cavenaghi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

52 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Obregón Pardemanos came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roldan Castellanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Taltum FC's Espinosa Marco was substituted for Marcelo Cavenaghi. 61 minutes into the match, Ralf Albäck notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 67 minutes, Ralf Albäck made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Taltum FC's Norbert Dabrowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. 73 minutes into the game, Flavio Cifuentes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roldan Castellanos in the 77th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Flavio Cifuentes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Albäck in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Flavio Cifuentes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 18-0. Flavio Cifuentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taltum FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
