After a defensive mix-up in Elite Team's zone, Alfredo Ferrant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 武青霖 came out of the goal and Alfredo Ferrant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bolivia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Juan Ibar scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Freixa, making the score, 1-0. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ibar in the 10th minute of the match. A hard shot 16 in the game by Cheb Saïd-Guerni from a close distance when the talented Camilo Freixa managed to make a qualified save. Bolivia's players were relieved. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Cheb Saïd-Guerni sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Bernabe Cambiasso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernabe Cambiasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso de la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Juan Ibar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Ibar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Nader Ghali fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elite Team's protests and gave Nader Ghali a yellow card for diving instead. Laércio Leão hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mario Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Ibar in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Moheb Hamza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alfredo Ferrant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Juan Ibar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 69th minute Bernabe Cambiasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Cheb Saïd-Guerni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. After 74 played minutes Elite Team got a freekick which was hit by Nader Ghali. Juan Ibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. When Cheb Saïd-Guerni came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Elite Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheb Saïd-Guerni couldn't finish the play. Juan Ibar struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Camilo Freixa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elite Team. Juan Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Fernandino got free with 武青霖 in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the game, Alfonso de la Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elite Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Cheb Saïd-Guerni notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elite Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
