Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Cornelio Olayo sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börje Albohm saved Baxters Boys from getting behind. After 15 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. After 18 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Evert Ahlén. Börje Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Börje Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Johan Bäckman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Baxters Boys's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Albohm came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Lendaa in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Ennio Piccioli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baxters Boys were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aloísio Lendaa took the corner. The corner led Baxters Boys's Staffan Åman to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Lendaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloísio Lendaa to strike the kick off in the second half. Staffan Åman kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Baxters Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Börje Albohm, making the score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Börje Albohm in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Olayo in the 64th minute of play. Aloísio Lendaa scored 1-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baxters Boys made a substitution. Jim Dahlquist replaced John Guidetti. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Aloísio Lendaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Staffan Åman kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ennio Piccioli hit a great ball. Jim Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
