With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

In the 54th minute, a hard, long distance shot from 韩伟岚 hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. When 武建松 came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Piast Choszczno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 武建松 couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Kaczor, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jaime Pardo's late challenge caught a Piast Choszczno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Pardo helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
