Ilmar Esken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Zhen Liang in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilmar Esken saved Auckland Koalas from getting behind. Ilmar Esken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patryk Frodyma went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ilmar Esken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Zhen Liang in the 18th minute of the match. Ilmar Esken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Frodyma, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Auckland Koalas's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Zhen Liang came free, but Ilmar Esken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Auktsjaur IF's Patryk Frodyma getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shi Zhen Liang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ilmar Esken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Zhen Liang in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Auktsjaur IF's Karl Backlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilmar Esken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Auckland Koalas's Ilmar Esken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Frodyma in the 86th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Auktsjaur IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Auckland Koalas.
