The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Ludomir Zacharek made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Ignatius. Soli Deo Gloria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Konrad Komanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, GKS Katowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Cwojdak to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes GKS Katowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 贺文斌 who took care of the corner kick. Felipe Bikendi made a great header on Soli Deo Gloria's corner, it was just that GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Teofilo Beturian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betão Pontes. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Teofilo Beturian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cezary Kasiewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Ignatius having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Soli Deo Gloria's Betão Pontes threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teofilo Beturian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 33 in the game by Korneliusz Barna from a close distance when the talented Betão Pontes managed to make a qualified save. GKS Katowice's players were relieved. Korneliusz Barna in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Betão Pontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezary Kasiewski during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Korneliusz Barna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Betão Pontes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Korneliusz Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Betão Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucjan Werra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 贺文斌's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betão Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 53rd minute of play. Betão Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Soli Deo Gloria's Korneliusz Barna in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GKS Katowice's goalie prevented a goal. GKS Katowice's Cezary Kasiewski got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Soli Deo Gloria made a substitution. Agix Banos replaced Teofilo Beturian. Lucjan Werra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olgierd Sokolski lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GKS Katowice fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! 82 minutes into the game, Soli Deo Gloria's Agix Banos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With his leg Bartolo Ignatius managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Barna in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Soli Deo Gloria getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Natalio Eder hit a great ball. Korneliusz Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute, Rolando Montel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Dominik Brysz in the 99th minute really tested Bartolo Ignatius's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The Soli Deo Gloria support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
