Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandy Spaulding took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hasta Alfonso scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Fillol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 minutes, Gilbert Guzman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Independiente and the Glentown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilbert Guzman hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasta Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasta Alfonso in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Glentown FC got a corner. C. A. Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hasta Alfonso ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 11th match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Allbom to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ralf Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glentown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Fillol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Glentown FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after C. A. Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hasta Alfonso took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Gustaf Allbom advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xu Yun Quan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olov Ahlquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasta Alfonso in the 29th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xu Yun Quan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olov Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Yun Quan in the 36th minute of the match. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasta Alfonso in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Fillol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olov Ahlquist made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Xu Yun Quan sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes, Ralf Fransson made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. C. A. Independiente's Ubaldo Fillol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hasta Alfonso made a kick off. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Guy Becerra got a free kick in the 60th minute. Hasta Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Fillol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Olov Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Yun Quan in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute C. A. Independiente were awarded a corner. Diego Cagna went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Glentown FC's goalie and right to Xu Yun Quan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Glentown FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Xu Yun Quan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Fillol was a little too slow when Jonatan Aspvik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-4. If Ralf Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Yun Quan came free, but Olov Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Glentown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Aspvik to maneuver through the defense. Glentown FC's Zoltán Kis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Guy Becerra kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Glentown FC played a much better game than C. A. Independiente and deserved their victory. The C. A. Independiente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
