Zenon Cipinski came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia C.F.'s Jonny Logan. But to his dismay, Jonny Logan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Zenon Cipinski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aziz Gustaman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Logan got free with Zenon Cipinski in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17thth minute of the game Florentin Gougeon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galena Kielce's Zenon Cipinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galena Kielce's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Al Capone was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. If Florentin Gougeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the match, Galena Kielce's goalkeeper Zenon Cipinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentin Gougeon. In the 23rd minute, Galena Kielce's Radomir Budacz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Radomir Budacz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Galena Kielce protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Radomir Budacz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 23 minutes into the game, one of Galena Kielce:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zenon Cipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Logan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Galena Kielce's Zenon Cipinski got control of the ball when Jonny Logan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zenon Cipinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentin Gougeon in the 31st minute. With an all-out effort, Valencia C.F.'s Zenon Cipinski threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florentin Gougeon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonny Logan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Zenon Cipinski made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Todd Kidd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonny Logan to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Florentin Gougeon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Cipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zenon Cipinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonny Logan's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Florentin Gougeon took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zenon Cipinski. Zenon Cipinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Zenon Cipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentin Gougeon, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Galena Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Florentin Gougeon came free, but Zenon Cipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Florentin Gougeon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Zenon Cipinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Cipinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariusz Czempa tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Zenon Cipinski. An unnecessary self made goal, 8-0 in the 71st minute. Florentin Gougeon scored 10-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zenon Cipinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiktor Domanski during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonny Logan charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Logan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Logan. When Todd Kidd fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valencia C.F.'s protests and gave Todd Kidd a yellow card for diving instead. Todd Kidd kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes, Edgar Pisarczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galena Kielce and the Valencia C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Galena Kielce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenon Cipinski should have stopped the shot. Valencia C.F. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
