Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Alvarez in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, GARGOYLES's Slavyan Mechkuev got a free kick in the 8th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Valko Nanyov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GARGOYLES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valko Nanyov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute of the match, Valko Nanyov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Valko Nanyov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Nayden Vúlev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Alvarez. 41 minutes in the game, Valko Nanyov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Nayden Vúlev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Slavyan Mechkuev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. A hard shot by Slavyan Mechkuev from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The wind increased when Ignacio Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Alvarez in the 53rd minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Alvarez in the 62nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on GARGOYLES's corner Arnaldo Pepillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Nayden Vúlev made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Ignacio Alvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valko Nanyov in the 78th minute of the match. Ignacio Alvarez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Slavyan Mechkuev kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Gisbert's late challenge caught a GARGOYLES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Alvarez in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because GARGOYLES had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
