Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ignacio Alvarez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 11 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nayden Vúlev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valko Nanyov in the 24th minute. If Valko Nanyov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nayden Vúlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GARGOYLES's Nayden Vúlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. Slavyan Mechkuev struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GARGOYLES. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Alvarez in the 38th minute. The GARGOYLES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

A collision led to GARGOYLES getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Slavyan Mechkuev hit a great ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Valko Nanyov struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GARGOYLES. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nayden Vúlev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slavyan Mechkuev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valko Nanyov in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of GARGOYLES booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Alvarez in the 88th minute of play. Ignacio Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GARGOYLES.
