In the 15th minute Marco Tamayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Banan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Kryspin Banan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kryspin Banan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 24th minute of the match. Pogoń Szczecin's Kryspin Banan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 27th minute of play. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kryspin Banan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes, Leon Wiatrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pogoń Szczecin and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamin Bojanowski in the 34th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kryspin Banan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Kryspin Banan made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Abram Luque sent off a good shot on target. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Olgierd Moryl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kryspin Banan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. In the 96th minute, Joshua Curbelo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kryspin Banan. The goal made the score 1-5. When the match was over El Salvador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pogoń Szczecin throughout the match.
