The supporters of Panama booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Prokowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Banan having to interfere. In the 15th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Banan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tytus Scigan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Szczecin's Tytus Scigan got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kryspin Banan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tytus Scigan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil succeeded in the game's 25th minute to get real power on a long shot . Pogoń Szczecin's Kryspin Banan hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! After 37 minutes Pogoń Szczecin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kryspin Banan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Beniamin Bojanowski's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beniamin Bojanowski helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Bojanowski. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Szczecin's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Banan came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kryspin Banan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 44th minute of play. Miguel Miralles made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Pogoń Szczecin's Kryspin Banan managed to reach the ball for a save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olgierd Moryl to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Wnukowski came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Pogoń Szczecin's Kryspin Banan. Kryspin Banan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience cheered when Miguel Miralles's long shot passed Kryspin Banan's right side. It was 0-5, 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Panama booed when Pogoń Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janusz Prokowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Miguel Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Miralles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
