Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without István Sipos having to interfere. If Holger Ettur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. István Sipos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. István Sipos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Pierońskie Hanysy's Miromir Burdalski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Holger Ettur in the 23rd minute. Facundo Cadaval might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over István Sipos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. István Sipos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. 41 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of István Sipos. FC Pierońskie Hanysy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Holger Ettur made a kick off. István Sipos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, FC Pierońskie Hanysy's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but István Sipos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. István Sipos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbyszek Sokol helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Pierońskie Hanysy getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zbyszek Sokol hit a great ball. After 94th play minutes Lautaro Mancebo shot 1-4, a short shot which went by István Sipos and just under the crossbar into goal. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Pierońskie Hanysy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
