To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Ur scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Marchu FC's 林卫适 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Aurelio Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 24th minute of play. When Godofredo Ur came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Marchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Ur couldn't finish the play. 林卫适 came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Barrett could save by the left post. After 30 minutes of play, Marchu FC's Wandy Petera made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, 林卫适 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marchu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A collision led to Marchu FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bruno Barrett made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Wandy Petera sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Davies made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Wandy Petera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The Marchu FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Marchu FC's Godofredo Ur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wandy Petera struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marchu FC. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Hedin in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curacao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iker Guifre was slow to take the kick. During this time Marchu FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Marchu FC's Iker Guifre to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruno Barrett despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Ur in the 72nd minute of play. Feliberto Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 林卫适 in the 77th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Isusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Troy Kennedy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Marchu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. The Marchu FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Marchu FC's Jesus Isusko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Wandy Petera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marchu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wandy Petera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Jesus Isusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rocco Owen hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
