Spiro Mutashki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hristo Stoichkov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. 13 minutes into the match, SvE United's Vitko Kozlov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitko Kozlov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Vitko Kozlov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. With an all-out effort, SvE United's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vitko Kozlov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vitko Kozlov spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Venezuela's goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Kleen got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 played minutes SvE United got a freekick which was hit by Vitko Kozlov. David Alaba succeeded in the game's 38th minute to get real power on a long shot . Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-0! When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Hristo Stoichkov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hristo Stoichkov really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tzvetoslav Desov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitko Kozlov in the 94th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Vitko Kozlov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, SvE United's Jonny Kleen made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there!
