The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexandros Peropoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachariasz Chmielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th play minute Alexandros Peropoulos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zachariasz Chmielecki. 1-0. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Zachariasz Chmielecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mathis Arlot hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Faustino Lehoi got a free kick in the 15th minute. Alexandros Peropoulos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zachariasz Chmielecki firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 41 minutes, Conrado Txordon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrialito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Txordon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was substituted for Fulgencio Pudes. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandros Peropoulos made a kick off. Felix Frasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Montrel in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Felix Frasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Montrel. Felix Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Monte Hermoso Beach were awarded a corner. Viktor Petrus went to the cornerflag to take it. Teo Fernandes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Monte Hermoso Beach's Zachariasz Chmielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Peropoulos in the 64th minute of play. Cecilio Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zachariasz Chmielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Alexandros Peropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Chmielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Damario Monteserin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrialito AFC's Aquiles Beat was substituted for Alexandros Peropoulos. Barrialito AFC's Natalio Bieito was substituted for Conrado Txordon. After 83 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Séamus Babasidis. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Monte Hermoso Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Marchiș to maneuver through the defense. Aquiles Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Frasco made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Hector Montrel sent off a good shot on target. Faustino Lehoi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Froilan Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Petrus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barrialito AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Monte Hermoso Beach had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
