The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Nataniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 5th minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 6th minute of play. Judas Verón took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Nataniel. Santiago Nataniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Billy Drake might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Raggio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Drake ran back to his position shaking his head. Judas Verón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santiago Nataniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Judas Verón, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Billy Drake came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Brown Puerto Madryn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Drake couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Eustaquio Fortun got a free kick in the 31st minute. Bernardo Raggio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billy Drake's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Billy Drake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brown Puerto Madryn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billy Drake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Judas Verón made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Nataniel. Brown Puerto Madryn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 49th minute, Justino Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Dömötör, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After some careless play in the Belgrano de Pibasog defense, Pál Dömötör kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Raggio. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Raggio should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

59 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerd Treial. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pál Dömötör during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Justino Frederico got a free kick in the 66th minute. A long shot from Pál Dömötör in the 67th minute of play was well struck, but Bernardo Raggio made a really good save at the right post. In the 69th minute Silvio Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Santiago Nataniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brown Puerto Madryn made a substitution. Taaniel Hill replaced Billy Drake. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Iulian Ilinca replaced Judas Verón. Brown Puerto Madryn made a substitution. Ladislao Salvidor replaced Gerd Treial. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taaniel Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Iulian Ilinca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Nataniel was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Iulian Ilinca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Belgrano de Pibasog's Melquiades Henrico was substituted for Justino Frederico. Santiago Nataniel came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca. But to his dismay, Iulian Ilinca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taaniel Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 99 played minutes Brown Puerto Madryn got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Blanco. Belgrano de Pibasog's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
