Monte Hermoso Beach's Séamus Babasidis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aldo Beltxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aage Hill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Beltxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Marno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Beltxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aage Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was substituted for Fulgencio Pudes. The wind increased when Igor Jokin made the kick off in the second half. Hector Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Cefero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jonatan Enekoitz made a huge save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Beltxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Beltxe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathis Arlot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Hector Montrel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Aldo Beltxe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute Hector Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marno F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
