Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ermis Vogiatzakis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aşkın Özgunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. In the 9th minute Rene Luzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Bennet in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rene Luzea was slow to take the kick. During this time Soulfly F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Rene Luzea made a great header on Soulfly F.C.'s corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 19th minute, Erling Bennet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soulfly F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aşkın Özgunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balaban Mirkelam, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ermis Vogiatzakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match, Bumin Kağan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 33 minutes into the game, Erling Bennet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bumin Kağan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Erhan Değirmenci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Bumin Kağan made the kick off in the second half. Aşkın Özgunes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Macos Graciani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aşkın Özgunes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 66 minutes Soulfly F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermis Vogiatzakis in the 73rd minute of the match. Ermis Vogiatzakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Ayberk Türkoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Ayberk Türkoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soulfly F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Luca Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Aşkın Özgunes, making the score, 2-1. In the 85th minute Erling Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermis Vogiatzakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Soulfly F.C.'s Ayberk Türkoğlu got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Rouco during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Bennet in the 96th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soulfly F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mexico for a fine match.
