Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Soulfly F.C.'s Aşkın Özgunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Özgunes having to interfere. Ermis Vogiatzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Ermis Vogiatzakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erling Bennet got free with Julio Vera in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aşkın Özgunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play. Bumin Kağan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Soulfly F.C.'s Balaban Mirkelam got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Bennet in the 31st minute of play. Aşkın Özgunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aşkın Özgunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Soulfly F.C.'s Bumin Kağan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 42 minutes in the game, fortunately Julio Vera had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 43rd minute of the match Soulfly F.C. got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rene Luzea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bumin Kağan kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Bumin Kağan made the kick off in the second half. Aşkın Özgunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute, Ermis Vogiatzakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soulfly F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Soulfly F.C.'s Ermis Vogiatzakis got a free kick in the 57th minute. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Soulfly F.C. were awarded a corner. Rene Luzea went to the cornerflag to take it. 65 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aşkın Özgunes, 2-2. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Aşkın Özgunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, Erling Bennet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erling Bennet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Soulfly F.C.'s zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aşkın Özgunes came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Bumin Kağan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bumin Kağan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Sebastián Puig lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 92 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Julio Vera had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Erling Bennet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Erling Bennet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Erling Bennet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soulfly F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
