Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosio Frisco went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Cristo Rey made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Uchiha. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play forced R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Danilo Illart with Gerardo Chabier as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 26 minutes into the game, Cristo Rey lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Rolando Noboa. A sloppy throw-in by Alonso Berganza in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Danilo Illart. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Uchiha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Gerardo Chabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Don King was substituted for Horacio Matro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Rey in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Delmiro Oto was substituted for Gerardo Chabier. 73 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Danilo Illart made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After having played for 75 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Uchiha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. A hard shot 87 in the game by Julian Murillo from a close distance when the talented Tony Uchiha managed to make a qualified save. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's players were relieved. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Tony Uchiha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Rey in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Cristo Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Peru's goalie and right to Adışirin Azayev. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Peru's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
