Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The Old Boys's Paulino Sayvion started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kubat Tuğrul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kubat Tuğrul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yang Ning Wei in the 21st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Sayvion in the 25th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Sayvion in the 28th minute of play. Kubat Tuğrul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play. Diamantino Ferrão hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Yang Ning Wei tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Arnulfo Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kubat Tuğrul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th minute of play. Kubat Tuğrul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 46th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Wang Kun Yang took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. The Old Boys's Monte Susanin was substituted for Paulino Sayvion. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Monte Susanin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Yang Ning Wei came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kubat Tuğrul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Kubat Tuğrul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes The Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Dolfo. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Kun Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
