Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislaw Cichocki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Concordia Knurów's Wieslaw Zahemski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
