Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Javier García took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Roubakis in the 10th minute of play. Orlando Rivera in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of O.T.E booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Olof Askestät shot from long distance after 14 played minutes, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Lakis Kazantzakis got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier García made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 20 minutes of play, O.T.E's Orlando Rivera made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by O.T.E's Fotis Papadimas. But to his dismay, Fotis Papadimas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Iosif Glossopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iosif Glossopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iosif Glossopoulos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. O.T.E's Javier García played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 31st minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Javier García made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 37th minute of play. When Iosif Glossopoulos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. After having played for 45 minutes, Joshua Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Secada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Orlando Rivera made the kick off in the second half. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Javier García in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Ömer Ongu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Rivera in the 60th minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Alekos Roubakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. O.T.E's Özen Baroğlu was substituted for Orlando Rivera. In the 67th minute, Alekos Roubakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier García showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute of the match. Javier García didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 82 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Menelaos Anatolakis hit a great ball. After 85 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Javier García skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Özen Baroğlu sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Chicote made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alex Chicote immediately put the ball in play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The O.T.E fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
