Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grabiel Escorcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Joseph Gayoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Cristiano Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Aveiro. Cristiano Aveiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nacional:s goal. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pedro Manzanares. In the 38th minute, Damiano Fioravanti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute of the game Camilo Candido made a throw-in which Ekain Menendez played forward. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Aveiro having to make a save. In the 47th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grabiel Escorcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grabiel Escorcia to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Xu Sha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristiano Aveiro made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Santino Seco sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 67th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 70th minute of the match. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Camilo Candido made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Cristiano Aveiro was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Santino Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santino Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Nacional made a substitution. Ranolfo Piedrahita replaced Joseph Gayoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 83rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grabiel Escorcia scored 3-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grabiel Escorcia in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Grabiel Escorcia made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
