Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damaso Sancho got the match started through his kick off. If Damaso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Sancho in the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máté Márton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Damaso Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sancho in the 14th minute of play. Damaso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Sancho in the 29th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 41st minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Máté Márton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Máté Márton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Congo Bongo's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máté Márton came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Chile were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Orlando Casaus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máté Márton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Damaso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Congo Bongo made a substitution. Sergio Austin replaced Iker Atarrabi. Congo Bongo's Arnaldo Oidor was substituted for Damaso Sancho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Máté Márton in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Máté Márton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 63rd minute. Froilan Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Froilan Iaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Máté Márton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariano Lacasa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Máté Márton. That made the score 0-3 in the 79 minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Arnaldo Oidor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Máté Márton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnaldo Oidor scored 1-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Congo Bongo's Máté Márton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Congo Bongo from getting a goal against them. Chile played a much better game than Congo Bongo and deserved their victory. The Congo Bongo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
