Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Peru's Eliseo Mina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rhys Dimmock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rhys Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elin Elin, made in the 14th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Luz Tejedor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Dimmock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Elin Elin got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rhys Dimmock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rhys Dimmock. After 39 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rhys Dimmock was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 42nd minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Sergey Krasinskiy got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Reese Otto. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of the match. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play. Mugurel Balaeț took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Rhys Dimmock in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Dimmock having to interfere. Elin Elin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Rhys Dimmock managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th minute, Milagros Fraga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 83rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 83rd minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 85th minute of play. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 88th minute of the match Zamalek FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elin Elin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elin Elin made a great header on Zamalek FC's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 91st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rhys Dimmock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute. Fred Kirkpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
