Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Helström in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alfons Helström scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Alfons Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Helström's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Glad in the 88th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magnus Glad's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Magnus Glad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magnus Glad in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Vedat Arslanoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jofurs Drängar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vedat Arslanoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Jofurs Drängar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
