Carl Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carl Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Käka Puck BK's Henry Erserman in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Käka Puck BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Walkowski got free with Julio Vera in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adam Walkowski struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Käka Puck BK. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Gustav Busk charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustav Busk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Käka Puck BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Käka Puck BK's Carl Forsberg. 0-3. The Käka Puck BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Erserman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Käka Puck BK's Carl Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 50th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. The attack was good, but when Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Forsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Forsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Facundo Guerrero hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Erserman in the 66th minute of play. Käka Puck BK's Carl Forsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Käka Puck BK from getting a goal against them. Mikael Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes, Björn Johnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Käka Puck BK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. 94 minutes into the game, one of Käka Puck BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Käka Puck BK throughout the match.
