In the 6th match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Deleau to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Royal PSG getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jean-Marie Guichaoua hit a great ball. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Éthan Rottier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. In the 10th minute, Jason Gaulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Éthan Rottier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Éthan Rottier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Kevin Carballal got a free kick in the 15th minute. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Éthan Rottier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Royal PSG's Éthan Rottier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 30th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Éthan Rottier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Brendan Queinnec notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jason Gaulin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Éthan Rottier was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Royal PSG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Roi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla tried to score from far away in the 51st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the game, Ben Roi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal PSG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Ben Roi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Éthan Rottier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 55th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Éthan Rottier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éthan Rottier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Éthan Rottier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 71st minute of the match. If Jaime Cazalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Delsart in the 80th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lenny Delsart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Delsart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Royal PSG's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jason Gaulin in the 85th minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Francisco Seco took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Éthan Rottier to make any attempt to save it. In the 90th minute, Serge Dole hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Gaulin's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jason Gaulin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Gaulin to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Éthan Rottier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Uruguay played a much better game than Royal PSG and deserved their victory. The Royal PSG players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
