Borys Biegun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Borys Biegun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Nadodrze Wrocław's Borys Biegun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 16 minutes, Borys Biegun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nadodrze Wrocław's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borys Biegun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Borys Biegun let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 18th minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Biegun in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Borys Biegun took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Borys Biegun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Borys Biegun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Nadodrze Wrocław's Borys Biegun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Nadodrze Wrocław's Hugon Podowski was substituted for Borys Biegun. After 70 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Hugon Podowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Hugon Podowski sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Llorienzo Orozco took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After 81 minutes of play, Nadodrze Wrocław's Hugon Podowski made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hugon Podowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Hugon Podowski made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. If Hugon Podowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Nadodrze Wrocław's Hugon Podowski in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugon Podowski's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
