Leonard Treppa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. The corner led Tirant lo Blanch's Jonatan Raymundo to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 13th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Leonard Treppa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonard Treppa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 20th minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamal Pahlevi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Kamal Pahlevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kamal Pahlevi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi. Kamal Pahlevi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Colombia's Axel Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonard Treppa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 40 minute of play. Luis Cazalla made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Pascual Carballar. After 48 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pitin Vallejo who took care of the corner kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Radomil Barciniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Cazalla made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tirant lo Blanch's Jefferson Pinheiro. After 57 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. 62 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Treppa scored 4-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tirant lo Blanch's Carmen Paniagua was substituted for Leonard Treppa. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Tirant lo Blanch's Dabi Barba was substituted for Song Peng Han. 78 minutes into the match, Carmen Paniagua notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Guaberto Rocio in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmen Paniagua went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. After 92 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Dabi Barba. After 96 minutes, Orlando Tafalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the Tirant lo Blanch players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tirant lo Blanch had won after a very even match.
