Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Galli started the match with the kick off. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Trento Calcio 1921 getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Frank Galli hit a great ball. Mutlu Baykam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. When Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Galli in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Macos Graciani made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Trento Calcio 1921's Mutlu Baykam managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Trento Calcio 1921's Fortunato Gatti got a free kick in the 28th minute. Mutlu Baykam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fortunato Gatti was slow to take the kick. During this time Trento Calcio 1921's players had a chance to rest. Fortunato Gatti made a great header on Trento Calcio 1921's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of play forced Trento Calcio 1921's goalkeeper Mutlu Baykam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mutlu Baykam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes Trento Calcio 1921's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. In the 68th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Trento Calcio 1921's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arturo Avesani tried in the game's 68th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Mutlu Baykam. An annoying self made goal, 0-1. In the 79th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mutlu Baykam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mutlu Baykam didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. In the 93rd minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
