With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Arif Ozan Sureha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oséas Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio de Alcântara in the 21st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséas Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Oséas Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 28th minute of play forced Jukatriz's goalkeeper Oséas Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséas Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of the match. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Jukatriz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio de Alcântara came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque. Oséas Albuquerque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Zeca do Valle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio de Alcântara in the 46th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséas Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Cerezuela came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oséas Albuquerque. Oséas Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 62nd match minute, Jukatriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio do Vale to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Patricio Cerezuela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Cássio de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cássio de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 72nd minute of play. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jukatriz's Patricio Cerezuela in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Cerezuela's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute Cássio de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
