Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jose Carita made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Isidoro Sarmiento however managed to control. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Ali Orhan Tuncer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

51 minutes into the game, MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's Alptuğ Boğataş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 58 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Alptuğ Boğataş came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, MAVİ İSTANBUL FC's goalkeeper Ali Orhan Tuncer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. In the 68th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Alptuğ Boğataş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAVİ İSTANBUL FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Orhan Tuncer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84thth minute of the game Ramon Lonzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Orhan Tuncer having to interfere.
