KFC Cromvelde's Matthias Wauters quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aristide Beșliu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé 武松 in the 5th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Manuel Vargas in the 6th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Osvald Ennegren threw the ball into play from the sideline. KFC Cromvelde's 沈笑伟 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Matthias Wauters was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KFC Cromvelde! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Honung. 孔桦珂 stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jean-Louis Van Bever. 0-1. With a little luck, Honung's Aristide Beșliu got control of the ball when Mathijs Rokeloos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honung's Aristide Beșliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 28th minute of play. After 31 minutes Honung's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cosmin Contra who took care of the corner kick. In the 35th minute Mathijs Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Beșliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孔桦珂 in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dé 武松 got free with Aristide Beșliu in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 40th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Frank Brogren notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever. Jean-Louis Van Bever was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 孔桦珂 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Lertora to strike the kick off in the second half. Dé 武松 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aristide Beșliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Wennersten. In the 55th minute, Sten Wennersten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Louis Van Bever was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos managed to work through Honung's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mathijs Rokeloos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Honung made a substitution. Rune Fredriksson replaced Juan Manuel Vargas. 67 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malcolm Lindström. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 孔桦珂 in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Louis Van Bever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 孔桦珂 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Louis Van Bever having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Jean-Louis Van Bever successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 81 minutes into the match, Honung's goal looked a bit too open when Mathijs Rokeloos came free, but Aristide Beșliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Beșliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé 武松, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Honung's Johan Kilström got a free kick in the 84th minute. Honung made a substitution. Angel Lehoi replaced 孔桦珂. After 85 played minutes Honung got a freekick which was hit by Johan Kilström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 86th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Fredriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jean-Louis Van Bever made a huge save. In the 95th minute Angel Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Honung walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
