Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabi Gol. Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Almeida in the 4 minute of the game. The Goianésia E.C fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Goianésia E.C's Gabi Gol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. César Delgado's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. César Delgado hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabi Gol to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabi Gol in the 20th minute. A hard shot 20 in the game by Gabi Gol from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After 26 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. A hard shot by Gabi Gol from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gabi Gol sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Diego Almeida with Gabi Gol as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gabi Gol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek. Norbert Balonek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Almeida got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tiago Cordeiro. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Goianésia E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabi Gol to make the kick off. Norbert Balonek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Cordeiro in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Goianésia E.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Norbert Balonek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Gabi Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Balonek having to interfere. Goianésia E.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
