Gone With the Win
Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gone With the Win's Stuart Brayson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ollie Kennedy hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Primitivo Escribano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Browne skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Brayson in the 16th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Pardo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Stuart Brayson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ian Browne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Paraguay's attentive Primitivo Escribano managed to snatch the ball when Stew Lonsdale made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Browne having to interfere. In the 36th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Browne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimmy Mulford got free with Jacobo Nores in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. After 52 played minutes, Gone With the Win's Rhys Whittingham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Nores came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gone With the Win reached it. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. In the 60th match minute, Gone With the Win was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Rogozinskiy to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Ted Wishart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ian Browne made a huge save. Gone With the Win's Ian Browne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Gone With the Win from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jimmy Mulford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gone With the Win's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Mulford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stuart Brayson during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Gone With the Win was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stuart Brayson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. Paraguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gone With the Win had won, even though Paraguay had held more of the ball.
