After 3 played minutes Perico City Grup got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Oriol. The supporters of Perico City Grup booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Glanselius didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aurelio Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 8th minute of play forced Perico City Grup's goalkeeper Vicente Cebrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Stål in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Berart to maneuver through the defense. If Fausto Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Cebrian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Stål in the 12th minute. The long shot by Fernan Berart in the 14th minute really tested Vicente Cebrian's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Martin Mutumba came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicente Cebrian could save by the left post. 26 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Haglund lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Vicente Cebrian. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål got a free kick in the 29th minute. Martin Mutumba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Vicente Cebrian made a huge save. Börje Stål scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Cebrian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Vykans Vikingar's Mats Hermansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 40 minutes into the game, Prospero Oriol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perico City Grup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vykans Vikingar the free kick. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Perico City Grup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Fernan Berart from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Vicente Cebrian's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the Perico City Grup defense, Mats Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Cebrian. The Perico City Grup fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Cebrian should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Martin Mutumba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Mutumba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Cebrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Perico City Grup's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Haglund came free, but Vicente Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Cebrian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Mutumba went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Mats Hermansson took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Cebrian. Vicente Cebrian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Bengt-Arne Haglund scored 11-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Cebrian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis was substituted for Martin Mutumba. Vicente Cebrian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Hermansson in the 81st minute of play. Abdi Revis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Cebrian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vicente Cebrian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Arne Haglund's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Vicente Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Bengt-Arne Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maximiliano Bittor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Vicente Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vykans Vikingar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
