Guillermo Fontirroig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hieronim Walczyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Chile's Pedro Indiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hieronim Walczyk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hieronim Walczyk. Hieronim Walczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 37th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Walczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC LongeR's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hieronim Walczyk came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Vihar Milev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Vihar Milev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Vihar Milev might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vihar Milev ran back to his position shaking his head. Orlando Casaus took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hieronim Walczyk. Hieronim Walczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 70 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's Vihar Milev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Vihar Milev came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC LongeR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vihar Milev couldn't finish the play. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vihar Milev went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 89 minutes of play, FC LongeR's Vihar Milev made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Vihar Milev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC LongeR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The FC LongeR players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
