In the 40th minute, Milán Seres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nike Cavia in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Szittyák SE rege's Reynaldo Jaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of play. Zsolt Kardos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Szittyák SE rege getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Arnold Cziránku hit a great ball. When Szittyák SE rege's László Gácsi in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
