Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aurelian Zogreanu made the kick off which started today's match. Iván Zamorano's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iván Zamorano helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Iván Zamorano. 8 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Neculce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Aron Neculce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Neculce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Griguță hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Aron Neculce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Zamorano in the 37th minute of the match. Aron Neculce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Luis Andino took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Neculce. Aron Neculce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 54 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aron Neculce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aron Neculce came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Zamorano in the 62nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aron Neculce firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 68 minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Aron Neculce stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Zogreanu in the 74th minute of play. Aron Neculce came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Ninjas in Pyjamas made a substitution. Sorin Tăgorean replaced Cornel Surdilă. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Aron Neculce in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
