Anders Byström ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Valdemar Tomasson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute, Valdemar Tomasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Pole Kickers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 15 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when North Pole Kickers's Michael Ahlbeck fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Peter Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Tomasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 27 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Ahlbeck came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Byström got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Arvidsson during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anders Byström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. With a little luck, Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson got control of the ball when Valdemar Tomasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Villiam Tholsson got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Valdemar Tomasson sped through Jamaica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Byström in the 54th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Tomasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute.
