The supporters of Mexico booed when los nadies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cortez Gamba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Camilo Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Isauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Isauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Inautzi in the 63rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Camilo Isauro in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Inautzi in the 69th minute of play. Camilo Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Armand Spailer fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeo Martxel in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Siro Olivar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
