With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Ömer Halisdemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sixten Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kajetan Dec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kajetan Dec made a huge save. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Antonello Salomone hit a great ball. Zawisza Bydgoszcz were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
