Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 7th minute of play forced SISTRELLS's goalkeeper Filomeno Benedicto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, USA's Cassius Byrne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filomeno Benedicto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Diego Bradley managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Sheldon Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Benedicto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Filomeno Benedicto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, SISTRELLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Aguilo to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Benedicto came out of the goal and Cassius Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Benedicto came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 32 played minutes SISTRELLS got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Primeiro. In the 33rd minute of the match Jacob May sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Benedicto skillfully saved the ball. In the 36th minute Albert Alcalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 42nd minute of play forced SISTRELLS's goalkeeper Filomeno Benedicto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Benedicto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Sheldon Cooper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. A collision led to SISTRELLS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Celso Sandaili hit a great ball. Filomeno Benedicto came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Cassius Byrne. But to his dismay, Cassius Byrne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. SISTRELLS's Aya Contreras was substituted for Máté Brothers. SISTRELLS's Anacleto Perpiñán was substituted for Rickard Bokelund. SISTRELLS made a substitution. Taavi Nikopensius replaced Sheldon Cooper. In the 61st minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Benedicto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. USA were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after SISTRELLS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. USA's Jenson Smith was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filomeno Benedicto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Filomeno Benedicto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 66th minute. Filomeno Benedicto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zach Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Mateo Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Benedicto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 70th minute of the match. Cassius Byrne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filomeno Benedicto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Filomeno Benedicto made a huge save. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Alcalde in the 77th minute of play. Filomeno Benedicto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Benedicto was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd minute Taavi Nikopensius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fabian Brown hit a great ball. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. The supporters of SISTRELLS booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, SISTRELLS's Taavi Nikopensius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Raphael Moore hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taavi Nikopensius in the 95th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SISTRELLS's Filomeno Benedicto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SISTRELLS throughout the match.
