Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Artigas's Leocadio Teja started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Furtado Codina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 5th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Leocadio Teja put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. 9 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Fidalgo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artigas were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valentin Monteagudo took the corner. The supporters of Honduras booed when Artigas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Ygnacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Fidalgo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Ygnacio made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Xano Villerias immediately put the ball in play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Fidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Leocadio Teja took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 32nd match minute, Artigas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Ygnacio to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes, Sebastian Villa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Artigas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Leocadio Teja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lia Engraba's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Lia Engraba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Furtado Codina in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Artigas's Lekubegi Turiel. But to his dismay, Lekubegi Turiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 68 minutes of play, Artigas's Lia Engraba made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lia Engraba in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Artigas defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Furtado Codina. The Artigas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Furtado Codina should have stopped the shot. Lia Engraba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Sancho got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sebastian Villa. After having played for 94 minutes, Lia Engraba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artigas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lia Engraba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sadurni Nadal fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Artigas's protests and gave Sadurni Nadal a yellow card for diving instead. Sadurni Nadal kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Artigas.
