The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Peter-Michael Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter-Michael Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 26 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter-Michael Schmeichel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Janusze Futbolu's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter-Michael Schmeichel having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Norbert Jaktorowo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Claudio Caniglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Jaktorowo in the 46th minute of play. The Janusze Futbolu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Caniglia made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Norbert Jaktorowo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Norbert Jaktorowo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Caniglia in the 53rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Claudio Caniglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 张学友 á Bø got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eugeniusz Osowski. 74 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play.
