The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Hajduk in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Bollström came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Urbano Mas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Karl-Axel Bollström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dalens Darlings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-1. Dalens Darlings's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
